1948 DeSoto Club Coupe. 49. 00 original miles. Roosevelt maroon with tan cloth interior. Repainted around 1974. rechromed front grill. otherwise absolutely original. Fluid drive transmission- low and high on the column with auto overdrive using gas peddle procedure. Very little rust . maybe some surface rust in a few spots. Overall. an excellent original car. Look at the pictures or E-mail me with any questuions. The car speaks for itself. there are not many like this one left!

Is this car still available & where is it located

from Bruce Miller, dated 07 july 2014
I see that all the activity was in April; does that mean the car is no longer available? Also, you note the transmission as "manual." Is it a standard 3-speed, or is it the 4-speed semi-automatic (I believe DeSote called it "Tiptomatic."

Could anyone please tell me if this car is still up for sale? I would like to move on if it isnt. It would be deeply appreciated, Thank you. Tom Hough, Philly.

Hello. I just came on this car by accident and also noticed you're located in Penn. I live in Philadelphia. I am 69 and I have been looking each day for something that I could afford. The cars I like are a second mortgage to me. I would like one more last car to drive around and turn some heads. When its my time, I would leave it to my granddaughter, she is 12 and 16 comes fast. Would you consider $7,400.00 for the car? It doesn't hurt to ask and by no means do I intend to insult you, I was just adding in my head the price, taxes, transfer title and so on. Thank you for taking your time just to read this. Take care, God bless. Tom Hough.
