Cadillac : Eldorado Coupe

1970 Cadillac Eldorado in San Mateo Red

Metallic with a black leather interior from out west. Runs & drives very

well. and with 93. 82 miles is in very good condition. Original fenders.

quarters. & floors no rust ever and no collisions. Being from dry

Boise. Idaho and only a two owner car. was obviously taken very good

care of.

The original 500 cubic inch engine starts right up and

settles into a smooth deep-sounding idle. This is the largest & most

powerful engine Cadillac has ever produced and is 500 cubes rated at 400

horsepower & with 560 lb. ft. of torque.

Will spin the front

tires with the throttle and accelerate like a muscle car if floored

(0-60 in the low 7 s) but lopes along at highway speeds with total calm.

The factory 3. 07 final drive ratio ensures relaxed cruising with

a 130 mph top speed. No mechanical issues the engine has no smoke. no

leaks. no noises and operates on premium pump perfectly and the

transmission shifts properly. A dual exhaust has been fitted with low

restriction mufflers and. while not loud. does have a deep tone. Power

steering and power disc brakes provide effortless & safe driving. Really

nice driving car.

The interior is in excellent condition. The front & rear leather seats

have been reupholstered correctly in black leather not cheaply done in

vinyl.

The dash is in very good condition. and there are no

modifications.

All power windows work properly. as does the

power door locks. and power 6-way seat. Tilt & telescopic steering

column. Factory climate control A/C blows ice cold.

The

factory stereo is in place & turns on but does not operate (a hidden

stereo is needed). Excellent carpets & headliner.

The only flaw is the original steering wheel is cracked

and has been wrapped in leather an easy fix or leave comfortable

wrapped as-is. Very comfortable car.

The body is all original steel and I cannot find any body filler

or panel work. A two-owner car. both senior citizens in Idaho. obviously

not used in bad weather and definitely garage kept. One respray in

correct San Mateo Red Metallic last year. done done to $4. 00 paint job

standards in base/clear acrylic enamel. We have block sanded & polished

it to a smooth glossy finish but there are still several minor flaws too small for the camera but seen under critical inspection. At the time

of respray. the vinyl top was eliminated and this car looks incredible

in all red without it.

The stainless steel trim for the top is

included if a future owner ever wanted one. Excellent original chrome

with no pitting and no discoloration. Excellent front grille and head &

tail light bezels. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly.

The trunk contains the factory jack assembly & spare tire. trunk

mat. & carpeted cardboard fillers.

Original steel wheels with

factory hubcaps fitted with P 255-70-15 whitewall radials. Just

professionally detailed and checked over ready for cruises and shows.
