Purchased in late 2012 from it's original owner (Michael S. Letko) who had bought the Lotus new from Newport Imports in 1975.

A matching numbers California (Riverside) car. which is the last and best iteration for the model.

It was stored in a garage since 1988.

I have spent a great deal of money on its mechanical and interior refurbishment.

It was a very good Lotus to start with.

It now has 1) new clutch and pressure plate. 2) complete new break system with new master cylinders and boosters. etc. 3) new clutch and throttle cables. 4) new radiator and more powerful fan. 5) various engine and gear-box gaskets. 6) new battery. 7) new carbs and fuel hoses (from Lotus in New York). 8) renovated interior and few other items which escapes my mind.

There are repair receipts for all the work.

It has 31. 89 miles.

It always fires right up and goes like a Lotus.

The engine sounds fantastic and tight like a new motor.

The paint looks great in the photos. but. it is old with many imperfections and stress cracks.

I had it prepped for "auto-cross" and racing. but. it was never taken out and never raced.

The tires look perfectly new. but. they are 25 years old and very dry and flat-spotted. I have the original owner's title copy. Lotus owner's manual. shop manual. and all the Lotus Europa data-book that came with it in 1974.

It is not a perfect one but. comparably a damn good one to own and enjoy.

Keep in mind that if you're taller than 6 foot with big feet. you cannot get in or drive it.
