1969 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Project - 351 W Auto A/C - Rust Free Arizona Car
Car is in overall good shape for its age.

Wears all of its original sheetmetal. but some work has been done on the rear quarter which looks to be very nice.

I purchased this car from the son of the original owner.

Odometer shows 35 k miles. not sure if original or not.

Has been parked since 1993.

Motor does turn over. has spark and compression. but that's as far as I got with it.

Pack rats have gotten to a few of the wires in the engine bay. mostly for the A/C. but is easily repairable.

Interior is original and complete.

Dash is cracked. as well as the steering wheel.

Car has cracks in windshield and back glass gaskets. so there was some humidity in the car that pitted some of the interior chrome.

Headlights and tail lights do function.

This would be a great project to restore to original or make an Eliminator clone.

I have a clear AZ title.

Just looked at the vehicle a little more closely.

VIN is stamped on a replacement tag from the California DMV.

It does however follow the factory format as follows: 9 F 93 M 531096.

I would assume this is because the paper door tag has been worn off.

On further inspection. the dash tag is missing.

Not sure why. but as stated. the CA replacement VIN matches factory format and the title I have.
