to the 50's. there's nothing quite like a 50 Merc custom

coupe that's been tastefully modified. The classic factory

lines have invited modifications to suit personal taste

for decades. some chopped so radical that you could not

even get a pop can thru the side window to one's like this

beauty that only enhance its original style. Smooth. sleek

and low. now that's Kool :-).

Ready to rock right out of the box. the slick body

features a deep red finish and the roof has not been

chopped while much of the factory bright work remains

intact. Light mods include frenched headlights. shaved

door handles. smoothed bumpers. hood & rear deck. blue dot

taillights and peep mirrors.

Under the hood resides a genuine Ford Flat-Head V-8 hopped

up with some nice period style Hot Rod dress. Rapidy-Rapp

performance goodies include aluminum Edelbrock cylinder

heads. aluminum Offy intake manifold. dual Stromberg 97

carbs. Fenton headers with dual exhaust. Mallory

distributor. Beehive oil filter. 12 V Alternator. factory

flex fan and back-up electric cooling fan. Shifting the

gears is a factory 3 on the Tree manual transmission.

factory overdrive and rear differential.

Moving inside you will find a nicely sewn 50's Diner style

interior wrapped in white Naugahyde with red piping on the

seats. headliner and door panels. The dash remains just as

designed. factory gauges. steering column and trim with

under dash mounted temp gauge. glove box mounted audio and
