I want to start off by asking you to please call for honest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet. come by and look at the car or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a car that may or may not be important to a buyer. Thanks.
OK. this is truly a unique opportunity for someone to own a very rare and desirable car. This is an ALL STEEL 1935 Willys gasser clone. YES ALL STEEL. This is a fresh and complete nut and bolt build. Completely disassembled. Painted from top to bottom. inside and out. You could even wax the underside of this car if you felt like it. That is how nice of a job was done on it. There is less than 100 miles on this car since all of the work was completed. It is running a rebuilt but basically stock 9. 5 to 1 compression 350 Small Block Chevy with a cam that gives it a nice cam bump at idle. Trans is a rebuilt 400 Turbo. Shifter is from an early Corvette. Stock steering wheel and column. Rear is a 9" Ford with ladder bars. 3:80? ratio single track. Front end is a new Speedway unit with disc brakes. The brakes are manual. They could benefit from a power brake booster or maybe an adjustable portioning valve. The portioning valve on it is not adjustable. It takes a good amount of foot pressure to stop. The frame. rear end. suspension. ladder bars. transmission. etc. could handle a lot more horse power. but it was built to be a " BAD ASS LOOKING " cruise night car that was very reliable and relatively easy on gas. We see lots of 41 Willys gassers around here. mostly fiberglass replicas. but hardly ever a 1935 Willys. much less an all steel Willys. The rear wheels are real vintage ETs. The fronts are the new reproductions made by ET. Tires are all new. The fender well headers look great and the exhaust pipes have interior mufflers that sound great. The leather bucket seats are out of 70's airplane. No rips or tears. very comfortable. and period looking with a little natural patina. There is lots of head and leg room in this car. I am 6' and 235 lbs. and I have to move the seat forward to drive it comfortably. All of the wood has been replaced by a guy that restores vintage wooden runabouts. Paint is fresh and in excellent condition. All glass and weather stripping has been replaced. One small crack in driver side quarter window about a 1-1/2" curve. All it needs is to have the interior completed and a top installed. Or drive it "as is" for that period correct look.
When was the last time you seen an all steel 1935 Willys in the condition that this one is in?
There is no buy it now price. but you can make me an offer if you like per instructions below. However. nbsp;I will not end the auction once the bidding hits the reasonable reserve amount.
Bid to win this desirable Willys but do not bid more than you can afford to spend.

NO TRADES

NO TRADES

Now for the business end. I encourage you. or someone you trust or hire. to come by and check out the vehicle in person. I will refund your deposit if the vehicle does not match the above description. The vehicle does not leave here until all funds clear my bank. Bank and cashiers checks can take up to 10 business days. My bank will give me a letter stating the date when the check will clear. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. Bank transfers can take up to 2 days depending on what time of the day it is initiated on your end. Again. my bank will let me know when it clears. Cash is great if picking it up in person.
Call me at 314-732-592five to get honest answers to all of your questions BEFORE YOU BID. Thanks. Dave
I do not respond to text messages
One more time. NO TRADES. Please do not ask. If you do not know. understand. and accept what "no trades" means. then you surely do not have a vehicle that I would be interested in.
I do not respond to low ball offers. text messages. or take offers over the phone. If you want to make an offer. please do so through normal ebay email. Include your name and contact info. If I feel you are a serious buyer. I will contact you back. If you do not hear back from me. then my vehicle must be out of your price range.
I do not give out my reserve price. Too many knuckleheads out there that like to play games with bidding just under the reserve amount with no intention of actually buying the vehicle. Makes it look like schill bidding is going on.
If you have a feed back rating less that100% or less than 10 total feedbacks. you might want to check with me before bidding. I will sometimes block or cancel bids if I get a bad feeling for the bidder. Non-paying winners are a real problem for sellers and it is hard to get seller fees refunded from Ebay in a timely manner. if at all.
For you new members. please don't bid unless you know and accept how ebay works and understand that you are legally committing to purchase if you bid. Not following through with a purchase after winning an auction for a new member can result in ebay canceling your membership.

Thanks to all. good luck with your bidding. and have a great day. Dave  314-732-592five
