1966 230 SL Roadster restored to original condition in 2012. It is dark red (562) with a bamboo interior. New paint. new soft top. new interior. all the chrome was either re-chromed or replaced. new engine seals and drive train seals. drive shaft was re-built. It has both soft-top and hard- top. The hard top was also restored. I have all the records since 2006. when I purchased the car. The engine had a valve rebuild and the compression was checked as good. The radiator was re-cored in 2010. The dash wood was re-stored by Heritage Woodworks. Palo Alto Speedometer refurbished the speedometer tach and clock. The car runs and drives well. It has been garaged and covered since restoration.
