Current customer rating:
This is a one owner 1967 Mercury Comet. Don't let this vehicles appearance fool you. just because its been sitting for 5 years. doesn't mean that it isn't the perfect starting point to your next project.
5 years ago the 289 was fully built TRW Forged Pistons Speedpro Rings Cut Crank - new bearings Melling High Volume Oil Pump Aluminum Edelbrock Intake Mallory Dual Point Distributor Accel Super Coil
Also features: 1969 Mustang GT Wheels New Leaf Springs New Ball Joints New Inner and Outer Tie Rods Long tube Headers
Vehicle is setup for a 4 speed trans. There currently is no transmission in the vehicle. The story that I received with the car is that the owner was in the process of building the car 5 years ago and ran into some health issues. The vehicle has been parked where it sits since 2009. The motor has roughly 5000 miles on it since the rebuild. The owners health issues have gotten worse and now he needs to sell his projects.
The drivers window and roof were damaged last month in a bad rain storm. A branch from the tree above fell on the car causing the pictured damage. The roof can be popped out pretty easily from looking at it. There are no creases in the metal. just simply a large dent from the branch. The drivers window was also broken from the branch but that is an easy fix.
I am not the owner. I am a broker representing the vehicle for the owner.
I know the appearance isn't great. the shag carpet was a alot to take in lol. Aside from the appearance tho. the car seems pretty solid. The motor alone is worth more than the asking price.
Feel free to ask questions. I am here to answer them.
