1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan

This car is very solid all the way around. Strong running Flat Head V 8. Automatic trans. wide whitewalls a lot of new parts. Just get in turn the key and go.

The Cosmopolitan featured attractively frenched. or recessed. headlights and taillights. and restrained use of chrome trim. inspired by California's leading customizers of the era. The Cosmopolitan also featured a one-piece windshield. a shallow greenhouse. and sweeping lines accentuated by heavy chrome-plated moldings above the front fender arches. The dash was remodeled for 1950. with the speedometer now placed directly in front of the driver. This was an important change. as the Cosmopolitan could easily achieve top speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.
