This is an original 1986 Jeep CJ 7 which is the last year of the AMC year. It has 68 k original miles. The transmission and transfer case were just rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. I have owned this vehicle since 1993 and bought it from the original owner with roughly 7 k miles. Unfortunately I no longer have the time to drive it or a big enough garage to keep it. This has been my baby for the past 18 years and would like to find it a great home. The jeep has a very unique drop down grill guard that flips down to become a receiver hitch so that the jeep can be towed.
The jeep does have the dealership add-on under dash AC but I would assume the freon is all gone.
I have the hard doors (but sold the hardtop a few years back because I had nowhere to put it). The decals on the doors are missing and there is the residual goo where they existed. I have gray best top soft top and someone kindly cut the driver side rear window. I also have a new bikini top.
The original stereo has been replaced as have to two speakers behind the dash.
I did my best to describe all the small nicks and dings but this car is almost 30 years old and almost all original with the exception of the grill guard. fog lights. tires/rims. fuel injection and the exhaust system behind the headers.
