The Trans Am was definitely the rage in 1976. It was the car to have and the Last Year for 2 nd Generation: Round Headlamps. Original Rounded design Shaker Hood Scoop with pronounced intake lip. Contoured Seats. Dual Intake Grill and Honey Comb wheels.
Rare Ordered Options: Firethorn Red (GM's Wonder Color). Power Locks. Power Windows. Power Trunk Release. Rear Window Defroster. Tetra Vinyl Interior. Rear Seat Center Console. 8-Track Tape. Honey Comb wheels and AC Delete.
Numbers Matching L 78 400. Borg Warner T-10 4 SPD. Kenwood AM/FM/Tape Deck. Dual Body Color OSRV mirrors. LH remote. Power assisted front disc brakes. Saf-T-Track differential. Power steering. Front and rear stabilizer bars. Space saver spare tire. Rally gages with clock and tach. Formula steering wheel. Front seat floor console. Rear seat floor console. Rear air spoiler. I'm keeping the 455 big block (which explains the 455 call outs) and have professionally installed the numbers matching stock L 78 400.
The Borg Warner T-10 4 SPD conversion was professionally installed with all NOS OEM pedals.
This Rare Firethorn Red Trans Am has always been Loved and Maintained since new - it's ready to be driven across the country. to cruise nights or your favorite two-lane black top - just throw in a Steve Miller 8-Track Tape and "Fly Like an Eagle".
