IN 1957 MOODY JOINED WITH HOLMAN IN CHARLOTTE. N. C. TO FORM HOLMAN-MOODY RACING WHICH LED TO RECOGNIZING THIS AREA AS THE RACING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD.

THIS RENOWNED TEAM BUILT VIRTUALLY ALL OF THE FACTORY FORD RACE CARS DURING THE 1950'S. 60'S AND 70'S. THEY RANK AS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL TEAM IN MOTORSPORTS HISTORY.

THE #28. 1940 FORD COUPE. WAS RESCUED FROM A SALVAGE YARD IN MASSACHUSETTS AND RESTORED TO ITS ORIGINAL LOOK.

IT HAS SINCE BEEN MECHANICALLY RESTORED AS WELL. INCLUDING AN ENGINE REBUILD. BRAKES. DRIVE TRAIN. ETC.

THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT! IT IS CURRENTLY ON DISPLAY AND MAKES FREQUENT VISITS TO LOCAL MUSEUMS. SHOWS. THE ANNUAL LEGENDS BEACH EXHIBITION RACE. AND DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY EVENTS.
