1979 Datsun 280 Zx. This was my grandpas little sports car and I have recently inherited it. He is the second owner and was very meticulous. He kept a record book that is in the car where he wrote down every oil change and repair going back to 1990. So you can see actual proof of the care and love that he put into this thing. The original owners manual is also in the glove box.
Low miles - 66. 24 original miles. Exterior is in good condition. minor chips and scratches. There is one large dent on the passenger side door which I took photos of. The car was kept in the desert in california and is 99% rust free. Interior is all original and seats are in good condition. no tears or rips. smoke and pet free. Grandpa put in a cd player but I have the original radio that I will include.
The car drives excellent. and idles well. I drove it a little while before I listed it.
My grandpa drove this until six weeks ago. so it hasn't been sitting idle.
Drivers side door needs a new lock. There is a key part that is stuck in there so you can't lock the drivers side door - that needs to be repaired. My mom said the sunroof leaks. I did not test it. it may be dried out and need to be oiled. I have two sets of keys.
