1969 Dodge A 100 Pickup - Currently used as a Shop Truck that I will send my employees out in it without fear.
Purchased in California 5 years ago and driven back to Indianapolis.
The body of this A 100 is solid underneath. but the cab A pillars are rough with riveted sheet metal patches performed by a previous owner.
Drip rails are gone with auto filler slathered in. There are some rust bubbles on doors and lower bedsides and some perforations in bed. I have performed no body work or rust repair since I purchased it.
Comes with priceless old work truck patina. I added push bumper.
After I purchased it and I had this truck in the shop at home. we tore apart the slant six and cleaned. painted. new gaskets and replaced hoses and external parts.
New radiator. Rebuilt brakes and replaced lines.
Shifter cable bracket is broken on transmission and held for last 5 years with zip tie with no problems.
New manifold.
Custom built stainless exhaust that dumps out drivers side in front of rear wheel.
Just put a new Car Quest muffler on it a couple weeks ago.
I purchased Wheel Vintique Smoothies and base/clear in black with baby moon center caps and new tires.
In terms of panel repair. anything that is fixed is painted gold.
I stripped and painted the engine cover and installed new insulation and new gasket.
New rear view mirror.
Acquired and repaired a stock steering wheel.
Showing cracks after use.
New horn.
New emergency flasher switch.
Blasted and repainted gauge panel (silver).
Speedo cable is broken. Other gauges work.
New fork truck seats with custom brackets.
Money Tiki custom dash is a bonus. No heat and the windows leak.
This is a good running and driving rough old shop truck.
Collects a crowd even when sitting next to a land speed race car.
No worries scratching shiny paint when taking it to work.
