The time has come to sell my VG Hardtop 1971 VG VIP 770
Originally Gold with Tan Vinyl Roof. 225 Slant.
V 8 was put in by previous owner and I don't know all the specific details but 318 V 8. Mild Cam. 360 J Heads. Pacemaker Headers. 465 cfm 4 Barrel Holley (Vac Secondaries). 904 Torqueflite
I have had the car for about 10 years and have been slowly working away but have found that I just don't drive it enough so it's time for a new owner.
The paint and body are starting to show some age and the fact that it was all done at home but overall in pretty good condition. (I. e looks great from across the road). Some minor rust also starting to re- appear.
It has lots of new parts including Timing Chain Timing Cover Water Pump Rocker Covers
Air Cleaner
Rebuilt Carby Rebuilt 904 Torqueflite Gearbox Pacemaker Headers
2. 25" Full Exhaust System Fender Indicator Lenses Repaired & Re-trimmed Seats New Carpet Retractable Seatbelts Front & Rear (Not Front Centre)Reproduction Fibreglass Splash Guards
Rear Brake Drums Front & Rear Brake Pads
Streeter Wheels & Tyres
and many others I cant think off right now.
Also comes with many miscellaneous spares and original 770 parts
Car drives well but could do with a tune and a few decent runs. It will make an excellent summer cruiser for someone as is or an excellent basis for a more detailed restoration
