Hello. I am selling my beloved Lotus Excel SE 2+2.   Hand build by Lotus in England. It has a powerful 2. 2 litre engine with 180 bhp. The car is sharp in her response and impressive in features. She has always been garaged since I brought the Lotus from the UK. 15 inch new OZ/alloy wheels with tires covering about 2000kms since new. Window wiper motor rebuilt a few weeks ago and new rear seat belt chassis anchors fitted. The Excel stands wide on the road with wonderful 50/50 balance. Build to last in strong fibreglass to reduce weight and add strength. She has a fully galvanised chassis that was inspired on the Lotus Formula 1 Chapman designed chassis of Grand Prix fame. No rust. The Excel is a superb drive especially on twisting roads.   I'm 6. 4 in height and I fit just fine with a comfortable driving position. Smooth 5 speed gear box. The pictures of the engine bay she that the Excel is a clean and a cared for car. Reliable and cheap to run. The car was originally red with a tan leather interior. Previous owner had her resprayed in Aston Martin Gunmetal grey and the leather recoloured in black. Regularly washed and cleaned and always garaged in Sydney. I brought this car over from the UK and since being here I have kept her in good and fine condition as you can see. Details to improve - wing mirror casings cracked under paint. I have only ever seen two in Sydney. so a rare car to spot. Rego and road tax paid until May/June 2015. I have all import paper work and current bills. Located in Paddington. Sydney.
