Hi to all. Here is a Renault Scenic Privilege 2001 model. manual 5 speed. with a powerful 2 litre engine. It has all the luxuries and options including leather seats. climate control. side air bags. cd player. 2 sun roofs. passenger air bag. central locking. heated seats. roof racks. removable rear seats and the list of options goes on and on. The car has lost its drive. and we believe that it is the drive shaft that had stripped its teeth. A new shaft is available for about $180 through Repco etc. The gear box is good and the clutch and pressure plate is also still good too. The car has done 242. 00 kilometres. and the engine is great and runs and starts first time every time. The car has good mag wheels and tyres are about 60% - 70% tread still. The colour of the car is light green. The out side of the car is in good general condition. The car has a few minor problems like: one sunroof won't close all the way. interior needs good clean (kids). rear tail gate latch needs adjustment. and the cloth material on the sunroof sliders needs attention. I would keep the car but I do not have the time to do the repairs myself. All in all. this car would suit the handy man to fix. or it would be an amazing car for spare parts or wrecking even. (Personally I think its too good to wreck though). Would be great for a second car. or for a work car. or even a family car? The car is currently unregistered but I believe it is still within its 3 months period for Tasmania rego. (Still has plates on it). These cars are known for their safety and reliability. New they were about 42. 00 to buy. This model is still selling for between 4k-9k on other sites. The car will need to be picked up with a car trailer or truck in Penguin Tasmania.
