M 915 Line-Haul Tractor (Truck. Tractor. 14-ton. 6 x 4)
1983 AM General. Cummins Big Cam 400. 400 HP at 2100 RPM. 5 speed Allison automatic transmission. 42 K lbs rear axles. 12 k lbs front axle. Air axle locks. Detroit diff lockers. This Tractor only has 75 K miles. My dad and I Drove it back from California with no issues. This thing is ready for work. Plenty of power and easy to drive w/ the auto. Tractor is Great for farm use.
Gov Liquidation is no longer selling large trucks. Rumor has it that EPA has an influence on the regulations of the government selling these trucks. Looks like they are leaning toward destroying and recycling large military trucks instead of selling them to the public. These are going to be very hard to come by.
