Regretful sale of Morris mini 850 1962 Cooper S replica. Selling due to no room or time to do what I wanted to do with the mini. This has been a solid car whilst I have owned it and never let me down. The car was last registered in Febuary 2013. It has been sitting in my garage since then.   I had planned for a full restoration in the future and build to Cooper S spec. I have owned the car for 6-7 years and haven't touched the paint. The car doesn't have a compliance plate. Just the 5 digit number stamped in the firewall.   I had no problems registering it when I bought the car. I will be selling the car unregistered and without a roadworthy.   I drove the car before removing seats and carpet and it still drives great and engine runs great. Originally a morris 850 it has had the below mods added. - Wind up windows. - 7. 5" disc brakes with braided lines front and back. - Cooper S stepped drums on rear with new liners and slave cylinders. - 1000cc A+ engine fitted. - Twin 1 1/4" SU carbs. - extractors with centre exhaust system. - 12" mini lite wheels. - Cooper dash. everything works. - Sports steering wheel. - Stainless bullet side mirrors. - Billet interior handles. door. windows etc - Twin Fuel tanks. - Stainless bumperrets front and rear. - Cooper grille. The Engine and gearbox are in good condition and seems to have high ratio Diff. Car will comfortably sit on 110Km/h. Only fault with engine is it has an engine oil leak while sitting. I removed the carpet because it was torn and in bad shape. The previous owner has done some rust repairs on both front floors and in the boot. My plan was to replace floors in the front and boot with proper fab panels. There is rust starting to come through on the seems and in the roof gutter. The boot has rust bubbles but I have a spare boot with no rust or dents. The car doesn't have a battery but I'm happy to install a new battery if the car sells for a reasonable price. Other spares to come with car are. Full set of spare glass. 2 x wind up window doors. 2 x boots. 1 x bonnet. 1 set of hinges. Su carb parts. Also alot more assorted parts that will go with car. I recommend viewing the car before bidding to prevent any disappointment. I've tried to describe the car to best of my ability and I'm happy to send through any requested pictures.
