2 for 1 deal!!!! Military 5 Tons

Actual year is unknown because the first truck was never put in service!!!!! Registered as a 1989 for historic purposes.

Description: YOU WILL NEVER FIND ONE LIKE THIS!!! Most of the trucks online are advertised as low mileage because they have been restored by the government. This one is ACTUAL low mileage AND was maintained by the government. It still has all of the accessories in their original boxes! Also has updated sided mounted battery box with new dry cell batteries. Troop seats are brand new and look like they've never been used. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER WITH THIS STYLE BOX. I've looked and seen some with relocated batteries but none of this style! I had an active duty marine check out the truck and he said it must have been part of the motor pool and used for training. As for issues I've disconnected the CTIS. Most of the CTIS systems on these trucks failed and end up being removed. Very Common if you do research. The controller however is almost new if you want to try to fix it.

Description: Not as nice as the first. Two of the torque arms ("dog bone") in the rear need new bushings (purchased the bushings but they need a heavy mechanic to install). Will need to be towed because it shouldn't move far with torque arm disconnected. Has hole in bottom of muffler. Crack in passenger side door window. Could use new batteries. Other than that it starts and fantastic! Was driven over 100 miles last month. Bushings went out while moving around my property.

Your basically getting an impossible to find truck + a truck that could be used for parts or easily fixed up to have as a second truck for the price of one. My fiance says they have to go because I have too many toys.

A few details about the trucks in general.
5 ton Military M 923 a 2 troop carrier truck with soft top. drop sides. 6 x 6 (full time rear 4 x 4 and switch on dash for 6 x 6). turbo cummins engine (250 hp . 65 ft lbs torque) allison automatic transmission. power steering. ABS brakes. 2 speed stransfer case ( high and low 6 x 6) and 48 inches of travel on the rear axels. Troop seats are equipped in the bed. The truck is generally in very nice condition. These trucks will go through anything and get anywhere and are very easy to drive with the power steering auto trans and ABS brakes. Engine starts easily. Has a hauling capacity of 10 tons on road and 5 tons off road. Top speed is around 60 mph. Tires are good and all have tread left including the spare. It gets around 9-10 mpg and has lots of power with the turbo engine. Street legal with working lights. urn signals. wipers heater. defrost. etc.
