1933 Willys 77 Original Steel Coupe with 392 Hemi, hot rod and street rod for sale
Current customer rating: (630 votes ) based on1933 Original all steel Willys coupe (except fiberglass half-hood) with 392 hemi engine.
Body: Original steel coupe. everything is steel except the hood. which was a new hood from the 60's. The body and frame are matching number in mint condition before I restored the car. The body has NO replacement panels and never had any rust rot. Running boards are also original steel. Front and rear bumpers are original and re-chromed. Body color is acrylic black enamel (95 hours spent on sanding and buffing out the paint). Glass is tinted green in excellent condition except for 1/2" crack on side of the windshield covered by a decal. also car does not have windshield wipers.
Frame: The frame is boxed and in excellent condition to support the hemi engine. Original matching frame and body VIN#s; stock front axle-disc brakes and drum brakes on rear. Front shocks are chrome Pete and Jake and the rear are air shocks (need to check air pressure before driving). Frame is also painted black acrylic enamel.
Driveline: 392 Chrysler engine was rebuilt by Willys Replacement Parts and has about 400 miles on it. It has dual AFB carbs on A Weiand manifold. Joe Hunt electronic distributor. chrome one wire alternator. chrome original valve covers and Headman ceramic coated headers. Also has high torque starter. The radiator is a custom seven row brass. built for this car and a Chevy bog block water pump. The transmission is a Chrysler 727 three-speed auto with a shift kit and Lokar shifter. Rear end is a 9" Ford. with 3:00 gears. Engine. transmission and rear end are rebuilt with about 400 miles on them.
Exhaust: From the Headman headers back the exhaust is 2 1/2 stainless steel. custom fitted to this car. and comes out at the bottom of the rear fenders.
Wheels: Cragar wheels on M /T tires.
Interior: Black vinyl upholstery with all new wood. all Moon gauges. Lokar shifter and hand brake. The speedometer is not hooked up. Steering column is Ididit. with a Corvair reverse box (needs adjustment). All interior chrome is in mint condition. The floors have been changed to metal.
This Willys is not a trailer queen. Needs to be driven.
Vehicle is being sold with no warranty in "As is/Where is" condition.
CT does not issue titles for old vehicles. but I have the current registration and a MI title I received when I bought the car. The MI title will go with the car and a CT bill of sale.
