1960 GMC 1/2 TON STEP SIDE PICKUP

 A little history of this truck. I purchased this truck from the daughter of the original owner who bought it new in 1960. The man died in 1995 and the truck sat since then in the backyard in Farmington. NM. The daughter verified that this is a 70. 47 actual miles truck. I have a clear Colorado title.  I brought the truck home and rebuilt the carb. cleaned the gas tank out. and put in a new fuel filter. I put in new tune up parts. and lubed the cylinders. The truck started right up and runs great with no smoke or engine noise. I put a new master cylinder. 2 wheel cylinders. and a slave cylinder. The brakes work good along with the clutch. I drove the truck down my dirt road and it shifts through all the gears. brakes work good. and idles beautiful.  
 Options: It has a heater. turn signals. flashers. and seat belts.

 The truck has been repainted some time in its life (not the best paint job). I do not know what body work has been done. The floor. cab corners. and rockers appear to be very solid with no rust. There is rust on the rail in the bed where the wood sets (see pic). The hood is dented and needs work.  The doors have rust hole's (see pics). The rest of the truck is pretty much straight with a few door dings and scratches.  
 The back glass and a vent window are broke. The windshield has scratches from the wipers.
 The speedometer and odometer both work. The head lights work but the high beam on left side does not. The head lights needs the adjusters replaced. The turn signals work if you ground the socket in the front. The right brake light doesn't work. The horn works if you wire direct to the battery. but doesn't work with the horn button. Heater fan and wipers works. Radio does not work. It has old Stewart Warner gauges some are not hooked up. but. the oil pressure gauge does work and has 55 pounds of pressure at idle. The spot light I believe is factory or dealer installed. It has GMC engraved on the chrome trim piece on the top of the light. There is power to the light. but the bulb is burned out. The truck will need new tires. It has the original rubber floor mat.  
 There are few period accessories that were in the truck. A flash light mounted under the steering column. fire extinguisher. trash can. and emergency reflectors. There are some other items that were in the truck (see pic).
