Up for auction out of a private collection is a 1953 Desoto Firedome 8 convertible. This car is an original 62. 00 mile car. Everything is original besides having some panel paint work by previous owner. The interior. drivetrain. chrome. glass and convertible top as well as everything else is 100% original.
I purchased this from the original owner who owned one of the last Desoto dealerships.
The car runs and drives perfect with no leaks. The paint shows very nice and the interior is like new.
There was only 1700 53 Desoto Firedome convertibles made. I don't think there are many left all original with 62. 00 miles on them.
