A very interesting piece for serious Buick collectors. The only Buick Reatta of this kind ever built. this car is 1 of 1. Not to be confused with other Indianapolis 500 replica pace cars. This Reatta was a joint venture between Buick and Champcar. for the Champcar PPG Indycar Series. Built in 1988 and used throughout the 1980's. for display purposes and part of the PPG Pace Car Team of vehicles to pace all of the Indycar races throughout the Championship season. Also. used for giving executive guests “hot-laps” around the circuit on race weekends. Complete custom body. (Look from the belt line down. Pictures do no justice to the craftsmanship on this car) Custom PPG Pearl-Metallic Multi-Stage paint. called “RootBeer”. by the Indycar Pace Car Team. This car even has the original Goodyear Gatorback tires from 1988! One of a kind car with racing history. Only 11. 51 original miles! The seats still look like brand new! This car has either been in storage. or on display at a race event all of its life! Please feel free to call with questions.
