NOT PERFECT. HERE ARE THE BAD POINTS:

1. 5 inch rip in top - not properly folded by the owner 5 years ago -   It has never leaked on me. but I haven't driven it in a bad rain – I never looked at the soft top1. 5 - 2 inch spot in the upper Driver's Side fender top -  hit a massive pot hole in Detroit and drove it into the fender - it should be a very easy fix at a body shop (see photo)Golf ball hit on the front valance by the Driver's side turn signal - dimple about a1/8 inch deepExhaust rattle when I hit a bump - the exhaust (Stainless steel) needs to be adjusted.   I have a new hanger assembly I purchased from Moss but have not installed it. This I fixed Rheostat for the interior lights doesn't seem to work - the dash lights are kind of dim. but the other interior lights (when you open the door etc are bright)Heater Cable needs to be replacedSmall rust spot by the steering column

Alan. the owner prior to the one I purchased it from did the majority of the work. I have his receipts.   This TR is the fastest. best handling TR I have EVER driven!!!!!!!!!!!!  Once you've driven it. you won't forget it.   There is appx $30K invested. so my reserve is well below that

I replaced the Miata seats that the previous owner installed as I like the look of the originals personally…. and have those available with the car and a nice original set of black seats too I purchased here on eBay. I tinkered some with the Mega Squirt tune and managed to get the idle stable at around 1000 rpm. Have played some with the cold start enrichment and other things too and it is better than when I received it. The suspension is stiffer than a stock TR and it is noticeable especially on bumpy pot holed roads we have here in Cleveland…but on a nice winding road as in Hocking Hills or HuntingValley…she shines and handles like a go-kart! I bought this car for the engine and other parts but this car and the one I would transplant the parts to are too nice to mess with and have changed my mind. I have a ton more pictures of the car. just ask. Thanks for looking and Good Luck!
