The car was purchased new in Madera. Ca at Pistoresi Motors on November 29th. 1967. It is owned and has been owned by the same family. The original buyer passed away in 2002. since then. his daughter has stored the car. There is a little story as to why he actually bought her. not for racing. because it had a strong reliable motor for pulling his horse trailer! Yes. he put a hitch on and a couple times a week would tow his 2-horses from California's Central Valley to a mountain town called Shaver Lake.
There are receipts going back to the 70's showing the mileage progress to where it is now. The odometer has not turned over. the motor has not been opened up. but the transmission was rebuilt in 2000. She is by no means a show car and needs some love. but the car is solid and not abused.  When I opened the hood. to my amazement. the cert card was still in the holder and manual was in the glove box!She is very original all the way down to her hub caps. including the spare tire. jack and lug wrench.
Sometime back in the early 80's he did run in to a fence post on the drivers side fender and lower door(info source is his daughter). The whole front end was repainted and there is a bondo spot on the drivers lower door. The rear window surround is solid. no rust at all. I do see a few bubbles on the rear lower quarter(pix included). I checked the floorboards. front has some rust. but no where near through. they are solid(pix included). The pictures show the vinyl interior is shot. but the steering wheel isn't cracked. even the chrome cleans up very well.
She does run and drive. but the brakes are not the best! We drained the gas out. changed the oil. battery and she fired right up. This car would be cool to clean up and drive.
THEY ARE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE
