Solid Oklahoma barn find 1952 GMC COE cab over 2 ton truck w/ red patina paint for sale

Up for sale here I have a mostly original 1952 GMC coe 2 ton truck.   It was found in a barn in northern oklahoma where it had been stored since 1987 when it was retired from use.   It's wearing 1960 Iowa new car dealer plates from 1960 front and back but was purchased in Perth Kansas in 1964 when it went to Oklahoma.   Its also got its 87 Oklahoma plate wired to the back.   It has a good Oklahoma title that was signed. dated and notarized by the seller in 2013 with the buyer remaining open.   There would be some small penalty when you went to title it I would imagine less than $100.   The title matches the serial no on the body tag.   Its very solid with one old red repaint with no evidence of filler over its darker red original paint with white pinstripe.   There is very minimal rust in the truck mainly the cab corners. the fender well area when you open the door. and a very small spot along the seam on the drivers floor pan.   Other than those areas it rust free.   It does have its share of dents from being a work truck for 35 years but nothing that isn't repairable.   The hood and fenders all have some dents in them from there years of use as well as the drivers door and cowl.   The back of the cab is the worst from people throwing things in the bed of the truck back when it had one.   The top of the roof is very nice once you get above the dents above the rear window.   The grill and surround have some dents and bends in them and the seam on the drivers side of the grill was welded up.   I don't have the factory gmc front bumper and the valance on the truck is beat up but I have a bumper and valance from a 1. 5 ton Chevy truck that I think will work.   The steps need a little work to the areas that bolt them on from the years of people climbing up and down them.   The doors are rust free but the drivers side has some dents along the wheel well and the lower hinge had some welding done to it in the past.   I have the lower access panel for the inside of the drivers door but I don't have the door panel.   The passenger door is excellent.   The truck has a complete dash in it with the factory gmc am radio and heater still in place.   The turn signal indicator. horn button and original key are all still with the truck as well.   The door glass looks like brand new and the wing windows are decent but have a little bubbling.   The windshield and back glass are shattered.   I believe the windshield was broke when the hood flew up at some point and bent the stainless divider and the hood a little (not on my watch).   One of the hood latches is missing and the other one doesn't work so I ratchet strapped it down for transport.   The doors open and close like they should and the windows roll up and down.   I'm unsure what size of engine is in the truck and I don't know if its stuck but I would assume it is.   The engine is all there though as well as all the shrouds top and bottom.   The truck has its original manual trans with 2 speed rear axle.   The truck measures 21' from front to back but will fit on an 18' trailer with a little hanging of the back.   The last foot of the frame was added to the truck at some point.   If a buyer only want the cab forward for an extra $250 I'll cut the frame and make it so it will have four wheels to roll on for cheaper transport.   The farm mods are as follows.   Both hood hinges broke so the put straps on each side of them with bolts through. they added a latch on the dash above the glove box to hold it shut. the seat looks to be from a coe just not a gmc and i have the passenger side seat bottom that was missing last time I listed it. and lastly they modified a hay hook to go from the 2 speed lever to the shifter.   Overall just a good solid builable coe with good red patina paint.   This truck is selling with no reserve and it is for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime before a bid is placed.   Thanks and good luck bidding.
