Rare vintage period 1939 Oldsmobile Gasser all steel body car. has orig. pontiac rear differential with large axles. long trailing arm/truck arm rear suspension with coil springs. 1956 Ford f 100 front axle & brakes. Ford f 100 steering box. car has a shorter wheel base up front. Orig tachometer (not hooked up) on dash. 1939 Ford front clip. This is a real time capsule. you just don't see them for sale often most you see are re-creations of the orig. Gassers. The name on the car is the original brothers that race the car back in the late 60 s & early 70 s out of Texas. they are still around and I was able to talk to him about all the details on this Gasser. It has a 454 big block Chevy engine with a turbo 400 trans. I put this car back on the road so my 16 year old Son could drive it to all the local car shows. so its a nice driving dependable Hot Rod. The rear wheels are the original wheels from southwest wheel co. they have been cut & are wider. back it the day that's what they did.
