1971 Land Rover Series IIA 88" LHD

 This iconic vehicle is in amazing condition for its age! It sparks interest wherever it goes and it can go ANYWHERE. The vehicle can reach over 60 mph in OD and pulls nicely along highways.

Body: Nice single tone pastel green paint a couple minor chips & dings. buffed and waxed as of today. Checker plated wing tops. galvanized bed caps and corners . hardtop painted with a tough oil based matte finish as are the wheels. brand new grabber AT2's less than 200 miles. Pintle Tow Hitch ( No Wiring) . front and rear light grilles ZERO RUST ISSUES Clean CA CAR. Door hinges need adjustment they do close but takes finesse.

Interior: Nice vinyl seats recently redone. three seats in front. all dash instruments and electronics re wired all working accept for the fuel gauge. nbsp; heater. no A/C. Land rover Series logo over-mats in front. Generic cargo area mat

Engine:  Lots of hours of maintenance & Restoration . recent valve adjustment. tuned up and Custom Hand made wiring harness with internally excited alternator. new battery. spark plugs. alternator. engine block painted a nice Blue. Very clean

Transmission/ Clutch: First gear perfect. Second gear goes in nice and as long as you are on the throttle it holds but upon deceleration it slips. third gear is ok but pops out on a rare occasion. fourth gear works as it should. Overdrive is working properly. when it is in OD none of the gears slip or pop out Odd but true? Brand new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder as well clutch grabs strong and true. Transfer case and 4wd all work properly and high low lever works as it should. I do have a short bell housing Lt77 syncroed 5 speed I can swap or include in sale for extra $$ on top of final price. NOTE: this option is to be added to the price of the final E-bay sale

Tires General grabber at2'S less than 100 miles spent 600 less than six months ago!

Brakes: new reservoir . master cylinder and booster. brake wheel cylinders and shoes could use R&R

Exhaust system: no holes and all there

Cooling system: very efficient No leaks. very clean fluid

Ignition system: all serviceable parts replaced
