1984 Trans Am Knight Rider KITT Convertible for sale

Season IV Knight Rider Kitt Replica
In the final season of Knight Rider. ratings were dropping so KITT was enhanced to try and attract new viewers. Super Pursuit Mode and the Convertible option were added to KITT's array of features. This is a dead on replica of the S IV Convertible. and is built on an 1984 Autoforms Convertible. GM did not offer Convertibles as a factory option. but a company in Elkhart. Indiana would take stock Firebirds and Camaros and turn them into Convertibles. There were not many of these made and even less still driveable. That and the KR Conversion make this a very rare car.

1984 Autoforms Convertible V 8 305. Auto. 60 K. 4 wheel disc brakes. 15 inch wheels
Knight Rider stuff:
Season 4 dash and lower console from Knight Designs with Jupiter electronics- can be displayed with out the car running. An external power supply comes with so you can display it indoors with the car battery disconnected.
New season 4 wraith innovations nose (hood- both sides. nose and front fenders freshly painted)
New LED scanner with sound/ remote from Lectric Enterprises
Lighted & operational pedal (lights increment as speed increases)- Just like the show
Mechanical & other:
Brakes. Pads & Rotors nearly new
New struts and rear shocks
New stainless steel brake lines all around
New Brake Power booster
New AC compressor
New water pump
New radiator & hoses
New alternator
New Passenger side window motor
New door and window seals
New O 2 sensor
New fuel pump
Replaced electric fan with pulley fan/new shroud
Engine compartment stripped. repainted and detailed as needed
Turbo cast wheels media blasted and clear coated.
Brand new Caps from Knight Passions
Will include many of the stocks parts (steering wheel. dash components) in case the new owner wants to convert it back to stock. Bidders should view the car or get an independent inspection. No surprises for anyone this way!
