Seller's notes: The Beetle benefitted from full restoration in the late 1990's. During which all old or worn parts were replaced where necessary. Now some years on the paintwork is showing slight signs of age, structurally she is very solid with the floor pans, chassis, battery tray and drain panel under the spare wheel all in good condition.

Classic 1965 VW Beetle for sale

The Beetle benefitted from full restoration in the late 1990's. During which all old or worn parts were replaced where necessary. Now some years on the paintwork is showing slight signs of age. structurally she is very solid with the floor pans. chassis. battery tray and drain panel under the spare wheel all in good condition.
The mechanical side of the car is fantastic. with a more recent full mechanical overhaul. including the engine upgrade to 1585 cc. complete with twin 40 Solex Carburettors. Electric fuel pump. Bosch electric ignition and K&N filters.
The gearbox changes smoothly through all four gears and pull strong in all.
No expense has been spared in making this car one of the most enjoyable cruisers. and simply effortless to drive. Starting first time and keeping up with all modern traffic. she is a pleasure!
The interior is in great. the original seats re-trimmed to contrast the paintwork. New carpets and headlining both in perfect order. as too are both the heater channels. having both been replaced (warm should you wish to use this winter). Period Blaupunkt AM/FM Radio and Immobiliser
Taxed and driven for the summer months. garaged and looked after. it is not often that she is rarely driven in the wet.
Other features Include:
New powder coated Wheels with good tyres all round. Complimented with white walls. stainless steel rims inserts and domed hubs
Full retractable winding windows. with 'pop out' rear quarter windows. all in working order.
Recently new German spec Running Boards and expensive USA tow rail bumpers.
New bumper rubbers.
Braided fuel lines.
Flat 4 Wooden rung period style roof rack.
Fully undersealed/waxyoled

She is a very presentable and useable bug. turning heads wherever it goes! Should the new owner wish. with little improvements she has the potential to be a show stopper.
I am confident that you will not drive a more satisfying beetle. regardless of the weather.
