Real "R" code car and 1 of 449 built in 1968. Inspected and Certified by Galen Govier and report comes with the car.
With this RARE high option package less then 55 have been identified.
The car has been gone threw and has a fresh motor rebuild. 4 speed rebuild. and rear end. The car runs and drives well and less then 2K miles on drive train.
Installed is a custom $8000. 00 Magnum Force front Coil over suspension system with nascar sized say bar. wilwood disc breaks and power steering kit. (Comes with original front suspension boxed up and rebuilt)
This car is number matching. minus the 4 speed trans that has a 1967 casting number as reported by Galen Govier.
The all black interior is very nice and has bucket seats
The body has no rust and has been a texas and CA all its life.
the paint job should be bronze not red. My opinion to make this a $125K plus car would repaint and do the correct color.
Your looking at around $10K for a high end paint job and body work to make everything line up to show quality. I have quotes from people have used in the past.
