FIAT 124 Spider Convertable Easton Pa 18042 2000 Bosch Injection

Check out my beloved 124 Spider.   I bought this in Ohio in 2000. when  I was a student at OSU.   I moved 4 times and taken it everywhere since then.

The car runs. drives. and is currently insured and registered for test drives. I have worked on the brakes in the past year. new pads and brake hose. and I installed a new timing belt 10 years ago. but less than 5. 00 miles on the belt.   The engine is out of a '77. I installed it 10 years ago.   I also changed the clutch.

The carfax-type report has an error. the car did not have 101. 00 miles when I registered it in Ohio.   The mileage currently reads about 96. 17.

I'm selling this car to finance a small business. and it will be sad to lose it. having owned it for such a long time.   It never lets me down. and is probably the most predictable and reliable old car I have ever had.

I hope it finds a good home where it can be kept dry and either enjoyed the way it is. or restored properly.   Please. if you intend on dismantling this car don't share that info since I may change my mind about selling it.   Please avoid the idea of restoring it if you don't have time and money. better to just give it a full detail and use it.    Leaving a classic car project unfinished greatly destroys it value.

Floors are great in this one. interior is above average for a convertable. top is very good.   Dashboard has cracks. see photos. Engine always starts right up. even after long periods of time.   Clutch has a bit of chatter the first couple times you use it.    Left blinker is intermittent. he rest of the lighting works predictably.   The ignition switch is sticky. I will include a used one.   I removed the trunk lock to have a key made and have not gotten around to putting it back yet. The driver door has a worn hinge. so the door sags a little. Exhaust is good. still has its catalytic converter.   I repaired the muffler instead of replacing it. Wipers have not worked since I aquired the vehicle!  I just use Rain-x and avoid taking it out on bad days. (although this car was my primary vehicle at times. for about 6 months when I lived in New Jersey).

Car handles great. and goes FAST. nbsp; feels like a modern car at high speeds (above 70 mph). so you can actually use the interstate with this little car.
