This is our 1984 Carrera 3. 2. and as you can see. it's a real headturner.

We acquired the car earlier last year. and decided to give the car an early RS look.

The starting point for the car was a very clean and well maintained 3. 2 Carrera. The huge history file confirms that much of the service and maintenance work has been carried out by Hartech. so clearly to a very high standard.

The car is showing a respectable 115 k miles. and had a new clutch assembly at 98 k. and a comprehensive "Gold" service at Hartech at 111 k. At the same time. she received a full new Dansk exhaust system. complete with new heat exchangers and a stainless steel bypass pipe.

We acquired the car from its owner of 9 years. and set about the transformation that you see now. A comprehensive body overhaul was completed. including of course the fitting of that iconic RS boot lid. New screen rubbers. gaskets. etc were used. and the car was fully repainted in Grand Prix white with blue Carrera decals and badging. The navy interior is spot on. and the car is fitted with an electric sunroof. The correct Fuches alloys were refurbished with matching blue wheel centres and polished rims. and all fitted with matching Pirellis.

Out on the road. the car drives like a good Porsche should. Oil pressure. hot or cold. is spot on. and that new exhaust emits no smoke. only a glorious flat 6 Porsche rasp! The gearbox is the older 915 unit. and although slow. is positive in its operation. Very importantly. the engine and ancillary pipes are bone dry and leak free.

All in all. we think that this is a very impressive and rewarding car to own and drive. It comes complete with the 911 number plate. and is off the key and ready to drive anywhere. As ever. test drives and on ramp inspections are welcome and encouraged. Please ring prior to travelling as we'd hate to disappoint.
