Here I am offering my Dad's Jaguar E-Type 2+2 which has been in our family for the last 40 years approx. I am 55 and he purchased the car when I was 15!!! Purchased from Dove's in Croydon. it has only 34. 00 miles from new and is totally original and unrestored. the car is NOT mint but is totally original. finished in Lavenda with a Webasto sunroof. Navy Blue leather. Chrome wire wheels. original 8 track Radiomobile. automatic transmission. all numbers matching. It is with a heavy heart we sell this car as a joint decision between my mum and brother and I as my dad is in very very poor health. so please do not contact if you think the car will be sold for a ludicrous price. I have just recommissioned the car at a cost of approximately £3000 I totally went all the way through everything. new brake hose's. Brake calipers to rear. pads to front. gaters to steering. transmission service. rebuilt carbs times 4 (very expensive) new petrol pump and tank. petrol pipe hose's. probably more that I cannot think of. original Dunlops are on the wire wheels. I decided to recommision the car after it had been in storage for the last 8 years. this car would suit a real purist who would appreciate it's history with us. it has all original hand books and charts and two ignition keys. I would love to keep the car but we have decided the money will be a better option for dads care. The car is a rust free example. this is a genuine sale. there are a few marks and dings on the bodywork. I will try and put some better pictures on here soon. I will do a photo shoot soon and will be able to e-mail genuine enquiries some more pic's. please no messers. it is a big dissapointment that we have to sell the car anyway!! Thank you.
