1992 – British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate
1998 – Valuation Certificate £12 K
The vehicle was totally rebuilt in 1990 but at some point been neglected and was in need of a lot of TLC when I bought it in December 2007 as a project.
In 2008 / 2009 it had the wings. bonnet. boot replaced and various welding repairs.
Re-spray – New Chrome – Wire Wheels refinished.
New Carpets – New Steering Wheel
Cylinder Head (Leaded) refurbished
2009 – Valuation Certificate £7 K
September 2013 – Due to a worn camshaft. rebuilt the Engine Block (while the engine was out!!)
Camshaft. Cam followers. Pistons (+0. 03). Oil Pump. Chain & Tensioner. Shell bearings (+0. 01). Water Pump. Oil seals. Clutch Plate and release bearing. etc.
Tuned by Ron Harper (again).
The body work is still tidy with only some age related marks.
