For sale is my Mercedes-Benz 350 SL v 8 petrol. rare classic and this years best classic buy. Bullet proof engineering and amazing build quality. This one has covered 118 k and has full service history from day 1 up until now. most recent work was 2 brand new front brake callipers. it comes with 11 months mot and 4 months tax.
Fully hpi clear and the correct mileage. it drives really well with no faults. it always starts first time every time and will go anywhere. it is the rare blue colour and comes with the matching hard top. half cream leather interior.
There is a little tlc needed to make it mint. the rear arches have slight bubbles of rust. the rest of the bodywork in my eyes is good but could do with a detailed clean and possibly buff to take out the scratches. i have added as many pictures as it allows me. it is priced to sell and the condition is reflected in the price. minters go for 10 k plus. The engine is as dry as a bone with no leaks at all. it has always been garaged. the wheels are in good condition and the same goes for the tyres. it has been wax oiled in its life to preserve. it is solid and will stay solid.
The engine sounds superb with those 8 cylinders firing away. the gearbox is silky smooth and very responsive. Please do bare in mind that this car is 35 years old this month. very low mileage for 35 . if a bit of money was spent on this car then it would be up with the best. i was going to auction it at silverstone classic car auction but its in november. RARE CRUISE CONTROL. THE CHROME IS PERFECT ALSO
