Mini 1275 GT 1979£5249 ONO
Here on offer is my son's Mini 1275 GTReluctantly decided to sell as he wants a new motorbike. and also has another Mini.
This Mini is a genuine 1275 GT. It was restored at great expense in 2007. It had over £4000 spent on the engine alone. which includes:Bored to 1380 cc. Mahl pistons. lightened. balanced. ported & gas flowed. Larger valves. double valve springs. roller rockers. oil cooler. performance manifolds etc etc. It is a very quick Mini. and is great fun to drive. Suspension upgrades. Hi-Lo's. braded brake hoses etc. The car was restored with a pair of genuine new MOWOG subframes which are still like new.
The car is Vermillion red which looks absolutely superb. The restoration was done in 2007. the paintwork is still lovely and shiny. but has started to bubble on a couple of the seams etc which is usual. He decided to just leave them as it was a shame to break the paint. and they have never got any worse. Not an expensive job if you're a perfectionist.
The car sits on Revo alloys with very nice sticky Yokohama's. The interior is a bit sparse / basic looking. and would really benefit from a retrim kit which are very cheap to buy.
The car has just had a new set of discs fitted and comes with a full MOT.
This really is a stunning looking Mini which receives an unbelievable amount of attention every time it comes out of the garage.
