1967 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale

For sale is my beloved '67 Mustang Convertible 5 l V 8
This is the convertible version of Steve Mc Queen's car in "Bullitt"
It is very original condition with a full US and UK service history and original sales documents and owners manual.
This car is a California original. having spent most of it's life in San Francisco. purchased by a Harry Burton for his wife Dorothy who kept it until her death nearly 30 years later when it then was bought by a Jeff Smutney of Sacramento who had it until I bought the car in 2001. It has always served me well. never having failed an MOT and has seen regular but limited use.
I have made the following alterations: Installation of discrete stereo/CD/ipod beneath original AM/FM stereo with remote (speaker cable in the door speakers has come loose so sound is fuzzy but easily fixed).
Installation of passenger side wing mirror as this was optional on the original car.
I nstallation of three point seat belts in the four main seats.
Replacement of faulty petrol cap.
Replacement of broken ariel.
Professionally fitted new roof to replace the perished canvas of the original.
I have also replaced the rear left quarter to address some previous filler issues.
The car will also come with a pair of front seat head rests that I purchased but never installed and a removable central console with cup holders (see picture).
Please contact me for viewing enquiries so that I can group as many viewings together as possible as I have a small baby so don't keep regular hours. Cash is preferred but a bank transfer is also possible. Obviously. being a vintage car it is sold as seen and I am not able to offer any warranty or returns. It's only taxed until June 30 th but the road tax if free anyway so.
