Finding a 1965 Fastback in such a great condition is getting more andmore difficult those days and finding one with matching numbers isreally hard. History
The car was build in1965 and equipped with 289 V8 motor offering200hp (149kW) That was the first year when those engines were put inMustang chassis. There were many other modifications to the model thatwere making the ride more comfortable and the car more reliable. Only13% of Mustangs produced in 1965 were in Fastback body. The car wasproduced in Dearborn Michigan. and sold for $2. 33. It was used as adaily car and the current mileage is 78. 26. Most of it's life itwas kept in a garage. which helped preserve the body in a goodcondition. Later. it was driven to many local car shows and used as aweekend car as well as garage toy. In 2007 owner decided to rebuildthe engine and transmission. which was done in professional shop thatspecializes in mustangs. Car served well the owner. but it was notdriven much until 2013 when it was purchased by a mustang restoratorfrom Dallas who wanted to restore it to original condition. That wasthe person I bought it from. The car went through mechanicalinspection and all worn elements were replaced. There was some rustin the floor. so the whole floor was replaced with Ford floor pan andthe car was given a fresh paint job. that looks awesome.

Technical inspection
289- V8 starts rightfirst time every time and idles good with no strange knocks ornoises. Auto tranny shifts good. There is no unusual noises in thesuspension and the car drives straight. It is a great driver forsomeone who prefers diving over messing with the car in a garage. It's a nice 50-year old classic that will allow you to feel andenjoy climate of `60. All gauges work. lights. blinkers. horn. radio. everything in a good shape. The car is equipped with mustang rally withnew white letter tires. All chromes are clean and shiny. Floor looksperfect. what can be seen on pictures. Interior is in very goodcondition. but looking for details. you will find few scratches. Ithas a fold down seat. which is a very desirable option in Fastbacks.

Good investment .
The car is a great alternative investment. Collectors carsoutperformed inflation and ensured a good location of funds duringyears of economic slow down.
