Classic Mini 1275. 1989 'F'

I bought this little mini as a project. It started life as a 998 automatic with a broken gearbox. In true stereotypical automatic ownership. it had previously been owned by several old ladies and well cared for. with a genuine 58. 00 miles. I then bought a 1275 manual Cooper with a rough body. but sound engine. The engine has covered a genuine 65. 00 miles. so very close to the mileage on the clocks. The Cooper was used as a donor car to convert from automatic to manual. with many new parts used. 100's of man hours and £1000's have been spent to get this little mini up to the very high standard you see today. I managed to get it finished in time for the Brooklands Mini Day where it got many admirers and photos taken. The mini has only covered 100 miles since completion. but I've had my fun and it's now time to sell it on and let somebody else enjoy this lovely little thing.

BODY:

1989 White classic mini The mini is 99% rust free. the floors are solid and original. the exterior bodywork is extremely clean with only the odd tiny bubble here and there.

Respray in original colour within the last couple of years by previous owner Paint professionally detailed and corrected. and protected with a sealant Group 2 narrow arches Chrome wipers and washers Chrome number plate light Chrome bullet mirrors Brand New (B/N) Front windscreen/rubber/chrome inserts.

ENGINE:

The engine / bay has been cleaned and painted. with fresh fluids and many new parts fitted. So clean you could eat your dinner off of it.

It was then professionally set up by a mini specialist and now runs like a dream.

1275 manual engine painted in BMC green Playmini exhaust B/N Oil/filter B/N Coolant B/N Brake/clutch fluid B/N Open cone air filter B/N HT leads and spark plugs.

B/N Fan belt B/N Water pump B/N Thermostat B/N Gaskets where needed B/N Fuse box and all new connectors.

B/N Coolant temp sensor B/N Oil pressure switch/sensor B/N Clutch hose and pipe.

B/N Polished carb cover/master cylinder cover.

B/N Polished coil.

B/N Engine earth straps and battery strap.

WHEELS / SUSPENSION

B/N 12 x 6 Rose petal wheels (Arches cut to accommodate) B/N Falken tyres Standard suspension Hi lo's would really finish this mini off. but I ran out of time to fit them.

INTERIOR:

The interior has been completely stripped of the horrible 80's grey and all new fitted in black.
