BMW E30 325i Convertible (1989)

An immaculate and original example of a chrome bumper 325 i Convertible in Diamond Black.

This 325 i has been kept in a heated garage from 1997 until now and only used in dry conditions – the result is a car in time warp condition with immaculate bodywork and no rust on the underside.

Replacement parts in the last 2. 00 miles include the water pump. 4 new tyres. brake and gearbox fluids and the head gasket (only as a preventative measure). The car received an all-important camblet service only 200 miles ago in September 2013.

HISTORY

This car was first registered in March 1989 it then had the important running-in inspection done at 1. 00 miles. All of the service work up until 86. 00 miles was undertaken by BMW main dealers or specialists and despite the cars relatively modest mileage has had a total of 20 inspections and services over the years. the last being an inspection 1 carried out in September at 89. 55 miles. The original owners manuals and handbooks are still present.

All old MOTs and service receipts detailing works carried out are present from 1997.

EXTERIOR

Finished in Diamond Black this 3 series is in stunning condition. The paint finish is almost flawless. it has to be thoroughly examined to find any kind of blemish. The black trim does not suffer from any fading and the rear spoiler is free from the usual cracks and sun damage. All chrome work is like new with only a few small scratches noticeable on the chrome strips surrounding the drivers window. The hood. glass and lights are all in great condition.

INTERIOR

This example comes with heated black leather sports seats the leather is in good condition throughout with only some expected minor cracking to the drivers seat bolsters. The rest of the interior is as if it has left the factory with no wear to the carpets or damage to any of the plastic trim. Although not installed. the original BMW radio cassette player is still present and supplied with the car. In the boot there is a spare alloy wheel and tyre which is in good condition and the tool kit which remains complete.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

This 325 i has a very tidy engine bay and you can tell instantly it has been well maintained. Despite only covering very light mileage over the last 17 years the mechanics have been meticulously maintained with regular engine flushing. oil changes. filters (fuel and oil). coolant renewal and belt changes and consequently all the mechanics are in fine order. The 4 speed switchable automatic gearbox pulls through the gears easily.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES

Fitted to the car are the 15" X-spoke BMW alloy wheels all of which are immaculate with absolutely no evidence of kerbing. flaking or corrosion. Tyres are Avon ZV 1 s all round and have plenty of tread remaining. The brakes work as they should pulling the car up in a straight line.
