Bought at a Children In Need auction. Sept 2012. ‘Carfest North

Pride and Joy' (Silverstone's) auction.

Ultra-rare: Number 359 of 385 four speed manual pre HE XJS V 12 coupes. Possibly the most collectable of the series. Very few left.

ENGINE NUMBER 8 S 12940 SA

Incredibly rare FACTORY STEEL SLIDING SUN ROOF (not used by current owner - privilege of new owner).

Black vinyl roof contrasting with classic 70 s Cotswold period yellow body. Original black leather interior.

New Michelin XWX Tyres on refinished GKN alloys
New speedometer at 75000 miles.

Previous owners identified via DVLA: Jaguar Heritage Certificate.

Original handbook and blue Leyland service folder.

Apparently unused since 1992 but now revived and brought back to life with

various new parts including new headlining. bonnet struts. front discs. radius arms. battery. wheel nuts and fuel sender unit. Lots of mechanical work recently carried out on clutch. rear brakes. dashboard electrics and windscreen wipers.

Great strong engine.

The car was a charitably motivated purchase which is why it is COMPETITIVELY PRICED at a much lower price than that of the auction.
