Bedford K Type 20-40 cwt Year 1951 Engine 3519 CCMileage 49927 This 1951 Bedford K-type pick-up truck starts and runs beautifully for a vehicle of its age, it has been kept in amazing condition and has had a lot of love over the years. The 3.5 litre six-cylinder engine makes this truck big and powerful. It has a four-speed gearbox and a reverse. This Bedford has had a total nut and bolt restoration from the previous owners, and as shown in the photos it is in immaculate condition. The brown paint goes lovely with the old school styled gold leaf sign writing, the underneath is as clean as on the top with the chassis being shot blasted and painted it really makes this pick-up stand out. The only thing to mention is that the lacquer on the bonnet does seem to be flaking slightly but these can be addressed if we received the full asking price for this vehicle. The interior of the pick-up is also spotless sporting two brown and black vinyl seats, it looks like it has just stepped out of a 1950's dealership. It also comes with logbook and factory workshop manuals. This amazing Bedford is a personal favourite of mine, I love all classic commercials. The current day equivalent of this is probably a Ford Transit - and to be honest if I had to take one of them to work tomorrow, I'd choose this Bedford any day of the week!
