Hello and Welcome to my auction for one of my Classic Ford Collection ive decided to sell a few to allow for other projects and have decided to test the water with this its a 1985 Mk 3 Escort Xr 3 i Finished in Black with Various Modifications the main one worth mentioning is that its running a Zvh Turbo Engine with the following spec Calibra turbo Pistons and rebore taking the displacement out to 2086 cc Small Ends Machined to accept Larger Gudgeon Pins Rebuilt Bottom End Efi Cylinder Head fitted with Piper 285 t 2 Camshaft Hybrid T 34 Turbo (T 3 Exhaust Housing for less lag) Keeping the old girl running is an L 6 Cosworth management set up running stage 3 Dark Green Injectors 3 Bar Map Sensor Cosworth Dizzy Conversion (to Retain Phase sensor) its mated to a fully rebuild hybrid rs 1600 i gearbox with 8 Bolt Lsd Unit Fitted via a 4 paddle Ap Racing Clutch ive only recently fitted the powerplant and have to say its the quickest escort ive ever driven by far its still to be set up on the rollers and this will be done before its sold i expect power figures soewhere in the region of 250-265 bhp its currently running 8-9 psi and pulls like a train

cooling is via a pace intercooler and a pro alloy radiator all new Silicone Hoses for both boost Oil Breather and Coolant are in Red The Car its self is an extremelly Clean Mk 3 Xr 3 i with a folder full of history this came to me running an Rs 2000 Mk 5 Engine and S 1 Kit its had a small amount of repairs and paintwork since i bought it as it didnt need much the following were replaced Rear inner and outer arch Lips Front Panel and Drivers wing(due to rot around the dreaded aerial Hole) rears of the sills were replaced and other than that the shell is original and untouched i am more than happy for any inspecion of the car we can put it up on one of our ramps so any area can be seen and marvelled at it really is as good underneath as it is on top its trimmed with rs 1600 i interior in excellent conditon complete with a pretty much uncracked non repaired dash and newr mint 4 spoke rs steering wheel it has a nice Sony Headunit and stereo system as well so not too medievel to drive either it also has the rs 1600 i front bib and light pack fitted all the lights are in excellent condition i also have the rs 1600 i rear spoiler and was planning on getting an A reg related plate to finish the rs 1600 i rep look but have not got that far with it its sat on BBS Replica Lenso 16" alloys with black centres which really suit the cars period stance it sits lowered by 35-40 mm and drives well its got 260 mm rs 2000 Front Brakes and S 2 Rs Turbo Rear Drums so it stops well front suspension is also stiffened up with a full Series one anti roll bar set up The Car is
