If the pictures look good ! I can tell you that these do not do this amazing MK 3 Cortina Justice!
The Cortina was subject to a full nut & bolt restoration in 2009. i have photos of the amazing strip down. all glass removed. even the interior. heater. brake pipes. you name it !
It was then painted in this amazing Ford Maize Yellow. i have had so many comments about the paint on this car. its mirror finish has had many people asking who did it ?
The list of improvements are so so long ! It drives like a dream. and i have recently upgraded the ignition system. and fitted a brand new old stock weber carb.
I have taken this to quite a few shows. and the amount of people who want to chat about the car is overwhelming. and again. I'd just like to say. the pictures dont tell the whole story !
There is NO RUST !. its as clean under the bonnet as it is outside. the underside was scrapped clean and painted black. the axle suspension. front cross-member were removed. cleaned overhauled and painted.
The Wheels I sourced a great set of Ford Sports wheels. had them stripped and powder coated. the finish was good ! but not good enough. so i had them painted in 2-pack and oven baked. then sourced 4 new centre caps (rare to find) then 4 new chrome trim rings (steel not fake) then 4 new Firestone tyres.
The Vinyl roof is perfect. no rips or bubbles.
Wherever you look. its clean. Errr Mint!
The Interior is original. clean and undamaged. great headlining. door cards perfect.
MOT until April 2014. Tax Till September 2013 So Insure and enjoy.
