Seller's notes: Repainted from white to yellow, the body is extensively dented with body filler and corrosion in places. Whilst the bodywork is intact and serviceable it does have a poor appearance. Mechanically, the vehicle appears to be in reasonable condition. The interior is also heavily used and worn.

1995 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER J75 PICK-UP for sale

On offer here is our old tow vehicle that we use within the port of Southampton. It a rare [for the UK] J 75 pick-up fitted with the excellent 4. 1 litre 6 cylinder diesel engine. We imported this vehicle in 1999 and has been in our ownership since that time [the first UK registered owner being the grey import company]. We reckon its age is 1995 but it could be a little earlier. The vehicle has a standard UK V 5. It has a recorded 166487 kilometres on its original speedo which we believe to be genuine as the vehicle only covers about 2. 00 kilometres per year operating only in the port. It MOT and Tax expire at the end of September 2013. The vehicle has been very heavily used by our staff and it time to let it go and it has been replaced with a FORD Ranger 4 X 4. Obviously. the old girl is being sold without warranty and is "as seen" and we would recommend viewing he vehicle prior to purchase as it needs to be seen in order to get some idea of the amount of work it might need if it was going to be restored. The vehicle has no power steering [not fitted from new] so it is not for the feint hearted either. We would like to see it go to a good home if possible as it has been a very good vehicle and has never broken down. We have a number of its old MOT certificates but no more paperwork for the vehicle other than the current MOT and its V 5. So there you are. we have no idea what it is worth so it is being sold with no reserve to go with no warranties. Happy Bidding - there are not many of these around!

There are a couple of PS items that need to be added in the light of various messages I have received. The first is that the price shown above is what you pay. we will calculate and pay the VAT ourselves from the proceeds. I hope this is clear. Secondly. I am still receiving a lot of messages trying to buy the vehicle from me prior to the end of the auction. We will not do this - the auction will run to its conclusion.

On the specification of the vehicle there is one additional feature that I was not aware of when I listed the item. The vehicle is fitted with twin fuel tanks [apparently]. These are genuine Toyota items by the way and not something that has been cobbled together as far as we can tell and have been informed.
