1967 Mk2 Austin Mini Cooper S Island blue with Snowberry white roof for sale

The car was bead blasted inside and out then rebuilt. It has twin tanks. new loom. new hi/low suspension. new callipers and discs. Rebuilt MK 3 Innocenti Coopers engine (mini Speed) high lift road/race cam. Cooper s head 12 stud fully ported double springs etc. copper brake pipes Etc Etc I've spent well over £16. 00. The trim is a Newton Commercial Mk 1 Cooper S. The vin number is CA 2 SB 1071050 A that makes it a correct MK 2 cooper S. however at some point it has had a Mk 1 body fitted so it will never be concourse. It is great fun to drive and reliable!

Are you sure that the car got a Mk1 body at some point?I am in possesion of a late 1967 Morris Mini Cooper S. My car is classified as a Mk1 however it has the bigger rear window and the larger tail lights - factory fitted.It was recorded that some cars had been produced in the “overlap” period that had parts fitted found on both Mk1 and Mk 2 Minis.
