Its my pleasure to offer you a very original 1955 buick special. This being the Special has the 283. . 7 ltr engine with no power steering or power brakes. Owned by myself for approx 19 years. This car is a all matching numbers car with. without a doubt a complete original interior original engine bay / transmission. ngine never removed. the under side has never seen underseal and is fantastic condition for a car of 58 years old. This car has a complete headliner and carpets which have never been removed. completely clean. the seats are complete with no stains and 2 very small rub marks but no tears or wear. The engine still holds its rocker cover decals "just" and definately an aged patina. The dash is complete with all parts working except the clock which sometimes does sometimes not. All tyres have good tread and the 2 rears are original 1960's white walls. The paint is not original due to some idiot over 10 years ago ruining it but had a repaint using spectrum analysed colour match. but as stated repaint to high quality at the time. The original colour scheme of cream on cream. this has been changed to cream on an original colour match blue. The body is free from any major dents but the paint does have a few blemishes. Chrome is original but is not of a high standard. being polished to death over 58 years and has some small marks/dents and has pitting. What more can I say this is an ORIGINAL Car. To be offered with this car is matching paint both colours and workshop manual. Something else to take into consideration: I have a shed load of spare parts to include spare radiator core . under seat heater. radio. complete front suspension. pistons. crank. eads. lock. spare dash clocks. trim to include front grill. rill bar. oor handles. the list is endless. I will list seperately after the car has been sold. Car is taxed and no mot required. You will not be disappointed Good Luck someone will have a great car for the summer.
