Signal Orange 1976 Mercedes W 115

200 Manual Petrol

The time has come for me to sell my W 115. If you are not wanting to buy a car that will draw attention or have people stopping you and taking pictures then this isn't the car for you. It is a 2 litre. 4 speed. 200 petrol. RHD in manual finished off in a beautiful signal orange. A really unique and rare colour to see these cars in.

I have owned this car for 2 years and before there has only been 2 owners. one being the original owner and the most recent was a garage that was restoring it. When I bought it the body work was in ok condition not perfect but still very solid. the engine and electrics however needed a lot of work. a ll of which I have the paper work for. One the main engine changes is that the car now has a manual choke fitted due to the old

carburettor dieing. Which makes starting the car in the winter a lot easier.

This car has b een my daily for the last 2 years and is an amazing car to drive extremely comfortable and surprisingly quick.

The car has done 132. 95 miles (as car is still being used milage may go up) however the engine has still got plenty left to give.

Has all the original tool kit. books and maps thats all came with the car when I purchased it. As mentioned before I have kept all the paper work to show all the work that has been carried out on the car since I have had it.

The car is not a pristine museum condition there are a few areas that need attention for example the bonnet and boot both have signs of lacquer peel and the rubber seals all round could do with some attention. As well as various surface rust patches around the car. Other than that its a great solid car. I have installed a retro/modern radio that fits in with the classic interior whilst still allowing you to connect your MP 3 player to it. I have also upgraded the single cone speaker that comes with these cars to two small speakers for better sound.

Good Points:

Solid car

Engine runs perfectly

Manual choke

Low millage for its age

Rare colour

Manual

Power steering

Bad Points:

Car has some surface rust

FM turner has stopped working on the radio but MP 3 connection still works perfectly

Petrol gauge has stopped working but I believe its just the sensor needs a clean

Lacquer peel on boot and bonnet

Few interior marks

Im looking for around £9. 00 ono

PLATE ON THE CAR NOT INCLUDED.

I have been as honest as I can but
